Improving tertiary pathways by improving support for prospective students

Ms. Andrea Parks (UniSA)

Project Manager

Andrea has been a Research Associate at the University of South Australia since 2012. Prior to immigrating to Australia, Andrea spent most of her career working in Canadian community colleges as a registrar, and in student advising, admissions and recruitment roles. Her experience in guiding and supporting students, along with her awareness of admissions policy and recruiting practice have strongly influenced her interest in exploring new ways for tertiary institutions to support and understand student enrolment, retention and success. Ms. Parks completed her MEd (Flinders) in 2012 where her research on prospective students began. She is currently engaged in PhD research on a similar topic.
