Improving tertiary pathways by improving support for prospective students

Methodology

This multiple methods study used a staged approach to examine the experience of Year 12 students as they make decisions about what to study at university and their interaction with the support structures available to them.

The study was undertaken within SA because it provided an efficient, single education system to study since it involves a smaller populace, has limited university participants and is largely concentrated within a single city.
